Large Asteroid Could Hit the Moon on Halloween

NASA and other space agencies which scour space for potential threats had no idea the up to 640-meter space rock, now officially called 2015 TB145 and classed as "potentially hazardous," even existed until October 10.



Now astronomers are watching it, as it might hit our Moon.



Though it is unlikely to hit the moon or the earth, with its level of uncertainty, it is worth kepping an eye on this asteroid.

Scientists have worked out that WT1190F will plunge to Earth above the Indian Ocean on 13 November, making it one of the very few space objects whose impact can be accurately predicted.
