A massive flood which the likes of haven't been seen in over 100 years swept a herd of cows to a crocodile infested beach while scorching temperatures melted the roads and prompted 3,000 large bats to drop dead in a wave of 'Armageddon style' weather.

Prehistoric Burials Ancient Tombs Found in Egypt's Nile Delta

During excavation work carried out by an Egyptian mission in Kom El-Khelgan area in the Nile
Delta, a collection of tombs and burials have been unearthed.

Mostafa Waziri, secretary general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said that the tombs date
back to the Second Intermediate Period.

The Second Intermediate Period marks a period when Ancient Egypt fell into disarray for a second
time, between the end of the Middle Kingdom and the start of the New Kingdom.

It is best known as the period when the Hyksos people of West Asia made their appearance in Egypt
and whose reign comprised the 15th dynasty founded by Salitis.

River Turns Blood Red Over Night in India

The stretch of the Periyar River which flows by the zone of Eloor-Edayar took on a red hue on
Monday and erupted in bubbles in some areas.

Local people claimed to have noticed the change of color upstream of the Pathalam regulator bridge that evening. The next morning, the rust-red colour was evident till the Pathalam Kadavu bridge, said a resident of Eloor, a local activist.

He observed the bubbles on the water a few meters upstream of the Pathalam regulator bridge.
“Yesterday, there was also some fish kill downstream of the bridge,” he said.

Strange Creature Surprises Tourists Sailing in Belize

Tourists were amazed to see this strange animal, which was swimming in the middle of the Hondo
river in Belize, on the border of Mexico while on vacation.

 The people were on a small yacht on the river that borders Mexico, when they noticed that a strange animal was swimming in front of them.

For a moment they thought it was a shark.

 In this area there is a diverse number of animals, from manatees and dolphins to crocodiles, among others.

 You can imagine how the tourists are sailing when they were surprised to see this strange animal appeared swimming. They came at full speed to see what it was: a jaguar was kicking its legs in the water to get to the other shore.

Onlookers were very surprised to see a Jaguar just casually swimming across this giant river.
The tourists posted their video to Facebook.

Volcano Scientists Closely Monitoring Mount St. Helens Rising Magma Levels

Volcano scientists from the USGS are closely tracking Mount St. Helens' volcanic activity as magma flows are increasing at 5 meters a day.

Earlier this week, it was revealed lava domes were rising at five meters a day. These are formed by viscous magma being pushed to the surface below and piling up. Like lava flows, they typically do not have enough gas or pressure to erupt explosively but they are sometimes followed by explosive activity.

Strange Sea Creature Found in Thailand

A strange sea creature was found off the coast of Koh Yao Noi in Thailand by local fisherman leaving many crab fishermen baffled at their finding.

This particular marine animal is actually camouflaging with its background and has some stick like structure to it. Its body structure matches to a crab with a shell-like covering and claws.The animal seems to have stuck from dry seaweed to it unless it is its natural covering.
While it looks very similar to some type of weird crab, it has striking characteristics that make you wonder if it really is a crab.
Not much is known about this creature yet. But this finding once again shows how the marine life is still more vast than we know.

Muncie. People who searched their houses for an explanation found no answers.

Level 3 Warning Volcano Erupts in Japan

A volcano erupted on a remote island in southern Japan on Thursday (Jan 17), the meteorological agency said, but the warning level was kept below the scale requiring evacuation.

Japans Public broadcaster said there were no reports of injuries or damage yet from the eruption of the volcano on Kuchinoerabu island in the far south of Japan.

"There have been eruptions there since last year but we sent an alert out (this morning) for this latest eruption as it will have a wider impact," said Jun Fujimatsu, an official at the meteorological agency's volcanic activity division.

"We have maintained a level three warning, which means a ban on entering the volcano area."

Roman Era Vibrant Funeral Tomb Uncovered in Egypt

Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered two ancient tombs dating back to the Roman period in the country's Western Desert.

The team discovered structures of two different architectural styles at the Beir Al-Shaghala site in the Dakhla Oasis, though both were built from mud-brick.

Inside the colorfully-painted tombs, they also found several human skeletons, clay lamps, and a number of pottery vessels.

Each of the tombs is decorated in vibrant funeral paintings, though much of the artwork has been lost to time.

A colossal storm is poised to barrel across the northern Sierra Nevada Wednesday evening, with high winds whipping heavy falling snow and creating blizzard conditions.

A photo released by China Central Television on Tuesday shows a cotton seed aboard China's Chang'e 4 lunar probe has sprouted, marking mankind's first biological experiment carried out on the moon.

The cotton cultivation is part of scientific experiments conducted on the lunar probe, which made an unprecedented soft landing on the far side of the moon on Jan 3.

According to a report a "mini-ecosphere" in a cylindrical container developed by Chongqing University is aboard Chang'e 4.

The mini-ecosphere has six biological samples — cotton, oilseed rape, potato, Thale Cress flower, yeast and fruit fly — as well as soil, water and air.

Scientists Watching Yellowstone Volcano as Magma Rises

The caldera located in Yellowstone National Park, has erupted three times in history , 2.1 million years ago, 1.2 million years ago and 640,000 years ago. 

Volcanoes typically blow when molten rock, known as magma, rises to the surface following the Earth’s mantle melting due to tectonic plates shifting.

 However, geologists have revealed how Yellowstone's magma chamber, which sits on top of the magma plume, is slowly rising each year. 

Should it continue at this rate, it is possible magma could break through the Earth’s crust – forming flowing lava.

Polar Vortex Arctic Blast to HIT America Next Week

Arctic cold will return to the nation's northern tier starting late this week, and that could help fuel another widespread snow threat from the Rockies into parts of the Midwest and East.

 Strong arctic high pressure will bring much colder air southward from Canada into the Plains, Midwest and Great Lakes late this week into next weekend. A storm system entering the West Coast Thursday will tap into that cold air once it moves through the central and eastern states Friday through next weekend, potentially allowing the storm to deliver a widespread area of snow.

 This icy cold blast is brought on by a polar vortex. This polar vortex took a twist, literally. It split into 3 whirling cones of cold. Weathermen found it hard to say exactly what would happen but then did predict a high chance of extreme cold polar blasts to hit in up to 3 different directions.

 Producing extreme cold temperatures, high winds, heavy snow and ice. The polar vortex's are typically strong and it could send weather to blanket much of the United States with a polar blast next week.

Geomagnetic Unrest for Earth Over the Next Few Days

For the next few days, Earth is expected to skim through a number of minor solar wind streams
associated with a southern hole in the sun's atmosphere.

This will likely stir magnetic unrest around Earth's poles, albeit not full-fledged geomagnetic storms. Intermittent Arctic auroras are possible this weekend.

Solar wind is a stream of charged particles released from the upper atmosphere of the Sun,

called the corona. This plasma consists of mostly electrons, protons and alpha particles with
kinetic energy between 0.5 and 10 keV.

Embedded within the solar-wind plasma is the interplanetary magnetic field. The solar wind varies
in density, temperature and speed over time and over solar latitude and longitude.

Its particles can escape the Sun's gravity because of their high energy resulting from the high
temperature of the corona, which in turn is a result of the coronal magnetic field.

This will cause beautiful Arctic auroras to continue for the next few days.

Additionally minor disturbances in low frequency radio waves and minor interference of low orbit
satellites.

Although our sun has entered recently a Solar Minimum, meaning the sun goes into its 'quiet phase'
we are still seeing quite a lot of activity from our sun associated with coronal holes.

Some researchers claim that geomagnetic storms and solar streams can cause earthquakes and volcanic activity to increase when the blast of particles hits our earth.

In western astrology, Jupiter is generally is a masculine sign, a sign for kings, world leaders and dominant forces.Venus is a feminine symbol, also symbolizing love, wealth, fertility or growth and the arts.

Both of these planets in conjunction most obvious interpretation is that of a wedding, a union or a deal.

Thousands of Bluebottle Jellyfish have been washing up on the shores of Australia forcing the closure of several beaches.

 A bluebottle sting causes an immediate sharp pain and acute inflammatory skin reaction, the RACGP also said. A sting is usually treated with heat or ice packs. In some cases, a sting can cause anaphylactic shock.

Bluebottles, are not true "jellyfish." They belong to a group of organisms known as siphonophores.

 Scientists believe its due to unusually warm waters.

A very old and thought to be inactive volcano in Germany has recently been showing signs of deep earthquakes and scientists have tracked some magma movement under the surface of Eifel Volcano.

Chupacabra Mystery Creature Spotted in the UK

A mysterious creature has been spotted prowling back gardens in the UK. Some locals are wondering if this animal could be the elusive British Big Cat.

The British Big Cat, phantom cats and mystery cats, are reports and incidents of Felidae not native to Britain but supposed to inhabit the British countryside. These sightings are often reported as "panthers", "pumas", or "black cats".

The existence of a population of true big cats in Britain, especially a breeding population, is believed to be highly implausible by experts owing to lack of convincing evidence. There have been some incidents of recovered individual animals, often medium-sized species such as the Eurasian lynx but in one 1980 case a puma, which was captured alive in Scotland. 

These are generally believed to have been escaped or released pets that had been held illegally, possibly released after the animals became too difficult to manage. Sightings at a distance may possibly be explicable as domestic cats seen near to a viewer being misinterpreted as larger animals seen farther away.  A fringe theory suggests that the animals may be surviving Ice Age fauna.
