Solar Wind Stream to Hit Earth Over the Next Few Days

A hole has opened up on the surface of the sun and could lead to a solar storm hitting Earth as over the next few days.

Scientists have discovered a coronal hole which opened on the top layer of the sun’s atmosphere,
unleashing a barrage of solar particles into the cosmos.

Earth is caught in the cross hairs of this stream of particles, and space weather forecasters say it could hit on January 23 and 24th.
