A total eclipse is when the Moon passes directly in front of the sun, completely hiding the solar disk and allowing the sun’s ghostly corona to spring into view. A partial eclipse is when the Moon passes in front of the sun, off-center, with a fraction of the bright disk remaining uncovered.
The partial eclipse of Oct. 23rd will be visible from all of the United States except Hawaii and New England. Coverage ranges from 12% in Florida to nearly 70% in Alaska. Weather permitting, almost everyone in North America will be able to see the crescent.
The eclipse will be especially beautiful in eastern parts of the USA, where the Moon and sun line up at the end of the day, transforming the usual sunset into something weird and wonderful.
“Observers in the Central Time zone have the best view because the eclipse is in its maximum phase at sunset,” says Espenak. “They will see a fiery crescent sinking below the horizon, dimmed to human visibility by low-hanging clouds and mist”.
Warning: Don’t stare. Even at maximum eclipse, a sliver of sun peeking out from behind the Moon can still cause pain and eye damage. Direct viewing should only be attempted with the aid of a safe solar filter.

During the eclipse, don’t forget to look at the ground. Beneath a leafy tree, you might be surprised to find hundreds of crescent-shaped sunbeams dappling the grass. Overlapping leaves create a myriad of natural little pinhole cameras, each one casting an image of the crescent-sun onto the ground beneath the canopy. When the eclipsed sun approaches the horizon, look for the same images cast on walls or fences behind the trees.
Here’s another trick: Criss-cross your fingers waffle-style and let the sun shine through the matrix of holes. You can cast crescent suns on sidewalks, driveways, friends, cats and dogs—you name it. Unlike a total eclipse, which lasts no more than a few minutes while the sun and Moon are perfectly aligned, the partial eclipse will goes on for more than an hour, plenty of time for this kind of shadow play.
A partial eclipse may not be total, but it is totally fun.

In 2011, several oarfish were sighted and found in the months leading up to the 8.8 magnitude quake that struck japan, followed it shortly was a 6.4 magnitude earthquake which struck Taiwan.
Kiyoshi Wadatsumi, a specialist in ecological seismology, told the Japan Times, "Deep-sea fish living near the sea bottom are more sensitive to the movements of active faults than those near the surface of the sea."
These weren't the first times researchers suggested links between animal behavior and earthquakes. Indeed, there's a long history of anecdotal reports of pets, zoo animals and wildlife acting very strangely in the days or minutes before a tremor is felt by humans.
One famous instance is recorded in the history of Helike, an ancient Greek city. During the winter of 373 B.C., "all the mice and martens and snakes and centipedes and beetles and every other creature of that kind in the city left," wrote the Roman author Aelianus. "After these creatures had departed, an earthquake occurred in the night; the city subsided; an immense wave flooded and Helike disappeared."
In February 1975, a 7.3-magnitude earthquake struck Haicheng, a city of 1 million people located in China's Liaoning province. But one day earlier, city officials ordered an evacuation based in part on reports of strange animal behavior: Hibernating snakes in the area, for example, abandoned their winter hideouts months before normal. The early evacuation of Haicheng is credited with saving thousands of human lives.
In late August of 2014, a 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck northern California specifically the Napa valley region. If we think back last year, serveral sightings of oarfishes were reported off the California coast. all occouring aprox 9-10 months prior to this large earthquake. At least three confirmed sightings of Oarfish washing up on the California Coasts spanning from October through November 2013.
Is there a possible connection to the Oarfish and pending coastal region earthquakes?
The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, is a jihadist group.
In its self-proclaimed status as a caliphate, it claims religious authority over all Muslims across the world and aspires to bring much of the Muslim-inhabited regions of the world under its direct political control, beginning with territory in the Levant region, which includes Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Cyprus, and an area in southern Turkey that includes Hatay.
The group has been officially designated as a foreign terrorist organization by the United Nations Security Council, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia, and has been widely described as a terrorist group by Western and other media sources.
The group, in its original form, was composed of and supported by a variety of Sunni insurgent groups, including its predecessor organizations,
Al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) (2003–2006), Mujahideen Shura Council (2006–2006) and the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) (2006–2013), other insurgent groups such as Jeish al-Taiifa al-Mansoura, Jaysh al-Fatiheen, Jund al-Sahaba and Katbiyan Ansar Al-Tawhid wal Sunnah, and a number of Iraqi tribes that profess Sunni Islam.
To understand, we must lift the proverbial veil which cloaks this caliphate. Firsty, we must take a look at the belief structure, philosophy, and history at the core of the Islamic State, which is Islam.
Islam
Islam is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion articulated by the Qur'an, a book considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of God or Allah and by the teachings and normative example of Muhammad c. 570 CE – c. 8 June 632 CE], considered by muslims to be the last prophet of God. An adherent of Islam is called a Muslim.
Muslims believe that God is one and incomparable and the purpose of existence is to worship God. Muslims also believe that Islam is the complete and universal version of a primordial faith that was revealed before many times throughout the world, including notably through Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, whom they also consider prophets.
They maintain that the previous messages and revelations have been partially misinterpreted or altered over time, but consider the Arabic Qur'an to be both the unaltered and the final revelation of God.
Religious concepts and practices include the five pillars of Islam, which are basic concepts and obligatory acts of worship, and following Islamic law, which touches on virtually every aspect of life and society, providing guidance on multifarious topics from banking and welfare, to family life and the environment.
Most Muslims are of two denominations: Sunni or Shia. A very small but growing sect of Islam is to be considered radical islam which adhears to the quran strictly and practices Sharia Law. ISIS or ISIL, proclaim that they are practicing the true teachings of islam, and through them, there is only one path.
To Arabic-speaking people, sharia , also known as Qanun-e Islami means the moral code and religious law of a prophetic religion.
Sharia is Islamic law, it deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics, and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, hygiene, diet, prayer, everyday etiquette and fasting. Adherence to Islamic law has served as one of the distinguishing characteristics of the Muslim faith historically, and through the centuries Muslims have devoted much scholarly time and effort on its elaboration.
Human interpretations of sharia vary between Islamic sects and respective schools of jurisprudence, yet in its strictest and most historically coherent definition, sharia is considered the infallible law of God.
There are two primary sources of sharia law: the precepts set forth in the Quranic verses (ayahs), and the example set by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah. Where it has official status, sharia is interpreted by Islamic judges (qadis) with varying responsibilities for the religious leaders (imams).
The Sharia law itself cannot be altered, but the interpretation of the Sharia law, called "figh," by religious leaders is given some leeway.
For questions not directly addressed in the primary sources, the application of sharia is extended through consensus of the religious scholars (ulama) thought to embody the consensus of the Muslim Community (ijma). Islamic jurisprudence will also sometimes incorporate analogies from the Quran and Sunnah through Islamic Judges (qiyas), though many scholars also prefer reasoning ('aql) to analogy.
The introduction of sharia is a longstanding goal for Islamist movements globally, including in Western countries, but attempts to impose sharia have been accompanied by controversy, violence, and warfare.
Most countries do not recognize sharia; however, some countries in Asia, Africa and Europe recognize sharia and use it as the basis for divorce, inheritance and other personal affairs of their Islamic population.
In Britain, the Muslim Arbitration Tribunal makes use of sharia family law to settle disputes, and this limited adoption of sharia is controversial.
The concept of crime, judicial process, justice and punishment embodied in sharia is different from that of secular law. The differences between sharia and secular laws have led to an on-going controversy as to whether sharia is compatible with secular democracy, freedom of thought, and women's rights.
In secular jurisprudence, sharia is classified as religious law, which is one of the three major categories that individual legal systems generally fall under, alongside civil law and common law.
Golden age of Islam
The Islamic Golden Age started with the rise of Islam and establishment of the first Islamic state in 622. The end of the age is variously given as of 1258AD with the Mongolian Sack of Baghdad, or 1492 with the completion of the Christian Reconquista of the Emirate of Granada in Al-Andalus, and Iberian Peninsula. During the reign of the Abbasid caliph Harun ar-Rashid (786 to 809), the House of Wisdom was inaugurated in Baghdad where scholars from various parts of the world sought to translate and gather all the known world's knowledge into Arabic.
The Abbasids were influenced by the Quranic injunctions and hadiths, such as "the ink of a scholar is more holy than the blood of a martyr," that stressed the value of knowledge. During the age, the major Islamic capital cities of Baghdad, Cairo, and Córdoba became the main intellectual centers for science, philosophy, medicine, trade, and education.
The Arabs showed a strong interest in assimilating the scientific knowledge of the civilizations they had conquered. Many classic works of antiquity that might otherwise have been lost were translated into Arabic and Persian and later in turn translated into Turkish, Hebrew, and Latin.
They assimilated, synthesized, and advanced the knowledge gained from the ancient Greek, Roman, Persian, Chinese, Indian, Egyptian, and Phoenician civilizations.
The government heavily patronized scholars. The money spent on the Translation Movement for some translations is estimated to be equivalent to about twice the annual research budget of the United Kingdom’s Medical Research Council today. The best scholars and notable translators, such as Hunayn ibn Ishaq, had salaries that are estimated to be the equivalent of professional athletes today.
They were a 'free thinking' society, that encouraged philosophy, Science, Mathmatics,physics, biology, medicine, public education, the arts and architeceture. They encouraged travel and commerce amongst all.
Hospitals in this era were the first to require medical diplomas to license doctors. In the medieval Islamic world, hospitals were built in most major cities.
Medical facilities traditionally closed each night, but by the 10th century laws were passed to keep hospitals open 24 hours a day, and hospitals were forbidden to turn away patients who were unable to pay.
Eventually, charitable foundations called waqfs were formed to support hospitals, as well as schools. This money supported free medical care for all citizens. In a notable example, a 13th-century governor of Egypt Al Mansur Qalawun ordained a foundation for the Qalawun hospital that would contain a mosque and a chapel, separate wards for different diseases, and a library for doctors and a pharmacy.
The Qalawun hospital was based in a former Fatimid palace which had accommodation for 8,000 people. "It served 4,000 patients daily." The waqf stated,
"...The hospital shall keep all patients, men and women, until they are completely recovered. All costs are to be borne by the hospital whether the people come from afar or near, whether they are residents or foreigners, strong or weak, low or high, rich or poor, employed or unemployed, blind or sighted, physically or mentally ill, learned or illiterate. There are no conditions of consideration and payment, none is objected to or even indirectly hinted at for non-payment."
The first institutions for the care of mentally ill people were also established.
There is little agreement on the precise causes of the decline, but in addition to invasion by the Mongols and crusaders, and the destruction of libraries and madrasahs, it has also been suggested that political mismanagement and the stifling of ijtihad (independent reasoning) in the 12th century in favor of institutionalised taqleed or (imitation) thinking played a part. Ahmad Y. al-Hassan has rejected the thesis that lack of creative thinking was a cause, arguing that science was always kept separate from religious argument; he instead analyses the decline in terms of economic and political factors, drawing on the work of the 14th-century writer Ibn Khaldun.
It is this notion of institutionalised 'taqleed' or imitation thinking , combined with strict dogmatic ideas by the Islamic State Caliphate and other radical movements in the Middle East that continue to hold back society and progress for the Middle Eastern region causing mass suffering to millions for the past 1400 years and still we see this happening right before our eyes in 2014.
Michael ("who is like God?", Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל (pronounced [mixåˈʔel]), Micha'el or Mîkhā'ēl; Greek: Μιχαήλ, Mikhaḗl; Latin: Michael (in the Vulgate Michahel); Arabic: ميخائيل, Mīkhā'īl) is an archangel in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic teachings. Roman Catholics, the Eastern Orthodox, Anglicans, and Lutherans refer to him as "Saint Michael the Archangel" and also as "Saint Michael". Orthodox Christians refer to him as the "Taxiarch Archangel Michael" or simply "Archangel Michael".
Michael is mentioned three times in the Book of Daniel, once as a "great prince who stands up for the children of your people". The idea that Michael was the advocate of the Jews became so prevalent that in spite of the rabbinical prohibition against appealing to angels as intermediaries between God and his people, Michael came to occupy a certain place in the Jewish liturgy.
In the New Testament Michael leads God's armies against Satan's forces in the Book of Revelation, where during the war in heaven he defeats Satan. In the Epistle of Jude Michael is specifically referred to as "the archangel Michael". Christian sanctuaries to Michael appeared in the 4th century, when he was first seen as a healing angel, and then over time as a protector and the leader of the army of God against the forces of evil. By the 6th century, devotions to Archangel Michael were widespread both in the Eastern and Western Churches. Over time, teachings on Michael began to vary among Christian denominations.
In the Hebrew Scriptures, and the Old Testament, the prophet Daniel experiences a vision after having undergone a period of fasting. In the vision in Daniel 10:13-21 an angel identifies Michael as the protector of Israel. Daniel refers to Michael as a "prince of the first rank". Later in the vision in Daniel 12:1 Daniel is informed about the role of Michael during the "Time of the End" when there will be "distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations" and that:
"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise."
In view of this, Michael is seen as playing an important role as the protector of Israel, and later of the Christian Church.
Although the three occurrences of Michael in the Book of Daniel 10:13, 10:21 and 12:1 all refer to the same individual, who acts in similar ways in all three cases, the last one is set at the "end times", while the first two refer to local time in Persia. These are the only three references to Michael in the Hebrew Bible.
The references to the "captain of the host of the Lord" encountered by Joshua in the early days of his campaigns in the Promised Land (Joshua 5:13-15) have at times been interpreted as Michael the Archangel, but there is no theological basis for that assumption, given that Joshua then worshiped this figure, and angels are not to be worshiped. Some scholars also point that the figure may refer to God himself. In the book of Joshua's account of the fall of Jericho, Joshua "looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand". When the still unaware Joshua asks which side of the fight the Archangel is on, the response was, "neither...but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come".
"...there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven."
After the conflict, Satan is thrown to earth along with the fallen angels, where he ("that ancient serpent called the devil") still tries to "lead the whole world astray".
Separately, in the Epistle of Jude1:9 Michael is specifically referred to as an "archangel" when he again confronts Satan:
"Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses"
"... the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first" (American Standard Version of 1901, a version that uses the definite article, "the archangel", absent in the original Greek and in English translations (such as the English Standard Version of 2001, which has: "the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God").
This archangel who heralds the second coming of Christ is not named,but is probably Michael.
According to rabbinic Jewish tradition, Michael acted as the advocate of Israel, and sometimes had to fight with the princes of the other nations (cf. Daniel 10:13) and particularly with the angel Samael, Israel's accuser. Michael's enmity with Samael dates from the time when the latter was thrown down from heaven. Samael took hold of the wings of Michael, whom he wished to bring down with him in his fall; but Michael was saved by God.[17][18] Michael is also said to have had a dispute with Samael over the soul of Moses.[19]

There were two prayers written beseeching him as the prince of mercy to intercede in favor of Israel: one composed by Eliezer ha-Kalir, and the other by Judah ben Samuel he-Hasid. But appeal to Michael seems to have been more common in ancient times. ThusJeremiah is said to have addressed a prayer to him. "When a man is in need he must pray directly to God, and neither to Michael nor to Gabriel."
The rabbis declare that Michael entered upon his role of defender at the time of the biblical patriarchs. Thus, according to Rabbi Eliezer ben Jacob, it was Michael who rescued Abraham from the furnace into which he had been thrown by Nimrod (Midrash Genesis Rabbah xliv. 16). It was Michael, the "one that had escaped" (Genesis 14:13), who told Abraham that Lot had been taken captive (Midrash Pirke R. El.), and who protected Sarah from being defiled by Abimelech. He announced to Sarah that she would bear a son and he rescued Lot at the destruction of Sodom.
In Matt. 24 where Jesus talked about the "holy place", He was NOT referring to a third temple. In fact, Luke 21 renders this same passage as, "standing in the place where he ought not"...
Do you have any idea where the teaching of a 7 yr. tribulation comes from? Do you recall an early church patriarch by the name of Martin Luther? It was Martin Luther that "pointed the finger" at the pope as sitting in the seat of Antichrist. Because of this fact as well as his 95 Thesis, people began to leave the Catholic church in droves! As you can well imagine, the Roman church was furious with him! They were desperate to figure out away to undo the damage that Luther had inflicted on their organization (church). So they began calling for their brightest biblical scholars. They needed away to be able to remove the stigma that the Antichrist would be the final pope. Francisco Ribera and Robert Bellarmine were brilliant Jesuit priests that fabricated the doctrine of futurism. They cunningly took "Daniel's 70 weeks" (490 yr) timed prophecy and stopped it short after only 69 weeks (483 yrs.) and then inserting a gap, now of almost 2000 yrs. They then taught that this prophecy will pick back up and the last week (7 yrs.) will commence after Christ returns secretly to get His church. By this teaching, Rome has been quite successful in removing the idea that the final pope will be the Antichrist. The reasoning being,"since the pope is a good Christian, he will be taken in the rapture, so he couldn't be the Antichrist that will be revealed in the middle of the 7 yr. tribulation." Right? ? ?
In God's Word, we are warned that in these "last days" that there will be many false prophets and teachers. Some of these false teachings are: a pre-trib. rapture; the great tribulation will last 7 yrs.; the building of a third Jewish temple; and then in the middle of this 7 yr. tribulation, the Antichrist will enter into this newly built temple and claim to be God. Most of these beliefs are formed from a misinterpretation Dan. 9:24-27 or the "seventy weeks of Daniel". These seventy weeks (490 yrs.) of Daniel's prophecy have already been marvelously and COMPLETELY fulfilled and that even means the last "week" or 7 yr. period. God was very careful to establish the starting date of 457 BC with the phase, "from the command to restore and build Jerusalem" (which is found in Ezra 7:21-27). This prophecy was meant to help "God's covenant people" to recognize the Messiah when He arrived the first time. So, how do we know that this last 7 yr. time period is referring to Jesus Christ and not the Antichrist that is still yet to come? By doing the math... If we add 490 yrs. to 457 BC, that gives us the ending date of 34 AD. (Please keep in mind that there is no year "0" ). If we subtract 7 yrs. that will bring us to 27 AD; the end of the 69th week; the "anointing of the Most Holy" and the start of the 70th week. We know that in 27 AD that Jesus was 30 yrs. old because we also know that Jesus was born in 4 BC (king Herod the Great would also die later in the Fall of this same year). It was when Jesus was 30 that He was baptized by John and was "anointed" by the Holy Spirit and God the Father spoke saying, "Thou art my beloved Son, in thee I'm well pleased"; Luke 3:21-23.
It was at this point that Jesus Christ began to "confirm the covenant with many for one week"; Dan.9:27. The word "many" in this verse is referring only to the Jewish people. For Jesus said, "I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel"; Matt.15:24. The prophecy continues, "and in the midst of week (31 AD) he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease". Please keep in mind that the noun "he" was defined in verse 26 as the "Messiah" that would be "cut off" or receive a sinner's death, but "not for Himself". So how did Jesus' death cause the "sacrifice and the oblation to cease"? We find the answer in Matt. 27:50-51, "Jesus, when He had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the (Holy) Ghost", Vs. 51 "And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from top to bottom; and the earth did quake...". The temple veil was used in the sacrificial service in the transference of the sins of the people to the temple by the priest "sprinkling" the blood of the sacrificed animal on to it... Jesus Christ's death also fulfilled: "to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness".
For John said at Jesus' baptism, "Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world"; John 1:29 And this is also what Jesus meant in John 19:30, when He said,"It is finished: and he bowed His head, and gave up the (Holy) Ghost". But what about the remaining 3 1/2 yrs. of that last 7 yr. period that Christ "confirmed the covenant"? In 34 AD, our resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ, appeared unto Saul, changed his name to Paul and called him to be the "apostle to the Gentiles". This was a profound change for Christ, for when He walked the earth, Jesus never preached to the Gentile nations. For He said, "I am not sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel"; Matt.15:24. So what happened to bring about this momentous change? The prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel starts by saying,"seventy weeks are determined upon thy people", Israel was given a 490 yr. probation. It was at this point that the Jewish nation's commission to teach the world about God and His statutes was taken and it was then given unto the Gentiles.
By Christ calling Paul to now go to the Gentiles, is ABSOLUTE PROOF that the prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel was COMPLETELY FULFILLED !!! So what does this mean for us today? The Word of God does NOT teach a 7 yr. tribulation nor that there will be a third temple. In Dan. 9:27, where it says, "and for the overspreading of abominations he (the Messiah; the Creator who used Rome) shall make [it desolate] (king Herod's second temple was destroyed in 70 AD by the Roman general, Titus) , "EVEN UNTIL THE CONSUMMATION" (Christ's Second Coming) that means NO THIRD TEMPLE! Now, you may be asking yourself, "aren't the Jews constructing the implements that will be used in that future temple?" I have already seen this same sort of test to the authority of God's Word when Saddam Hussein said that he was going to be the next king Nebuchadnezzar and rebuild the city of Babylon. Even though he had already started excavating and had actually started reconstruction on several buildings, I was aware of what God had said concerning this... In Isaiah 13:19-20, it states that God was going to use the Medes to destroy Babylon and that Babylon would never be inhabited again! And we all know how that turned out...

In tests off the California coast, a Lockheed Martin prototype laser system successfully disabled two boats at a range of approximately 1.6 kilometers. These were the first tests of the Area Defense Anti-Munitions (ADAM) system against maritime targets.
Lockheed Martin is developing the transportable, ground-based ADAM laser system to demonstrate a practical, affordable defense against short-range threats, including Qassam-like rockets, unmanned aerial systems and small boats.
In less than 30 seconds, the ground-based system’s high-energy laser burned through multiple compartments of the rubber hull of the military-grade small boats operating in the ocean. Lockheed Martin previously demonstrated the system’s capabilities in countering representative airborne targets in flight, including small-caliber rocket targets and an unmanned aerial system target. The system can precisely track moving targets at a range of more than 5 kilometers (3.1 miles), and its 10-kilowatt fiber laser can engage targets up to 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) away.
The 2nd century AD author Lucian wrote that during the Siege of Syracuse (c. 214–212 BC), Archimedes destroyed enemy ships with fire. Centuries later, Anthemius of Tralles mentions burning-glasses as Archimedes' weapon.[30] The device, sometimes called the "Archimedes heat ray", was used to focus sunlight onto approaching ships, causing them to catch fire.
We have seen many researchers trying to recreate the Archimedes heat ray using mirrors to reflect the sunlight to a point to catch something on fire. In all attempts it has failed. but what if, archimedes ray was actually a sophicated device, technology since lost over time.
In scotland the ancient vitrified forts show evidence that a strong heat source was used on the structures. So intense that even fire could not reproduce these results. The forts have been subjected to such an emense temperature that the rocks actually melted.
Lost civilizations with advanced technology may hold a clue to what Archimedes heat ray actually was. Until we find the answers, it seems history really does repeat, even with technology.
For thousands of years, mankind has looked to the Moon, the sun, and the star phases and events, playing a part in every culture in the world dating back to the begining of mankind. Treated as omens, harbingers, and marking periods of points in time. There must have been something more to these celestial events, something more important, something prophetic. Civilizations around the world for thousands of years have built shrines and monoliths to mark these celestial happenings.
This begs the bigger question of why? Why has mankind been so obsessed with celestial activity?
The answers are giving to us through the word of the bible, in Genesis 1:14 is states," And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years."
These celestial events are for us to mark occasions, and measure time. in the bible the word Seasons is translated to the meaning of feast as referenced in livitcus 23. in leviticus 23:2 it says Speak unto the children of israel, and say unto them, concerning the feasts of the lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. What is being refered to here is Divine appointments. Points of time that are made important to us by God. Events of occasions set for us by the lord and he shall give us signs to these feasts. When we think to divine appointments we might think of Christmas to mark the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ. While this is true to the literal translation, for accuracy we need to think back to when these divine occasions where set. For this we need to refer to the holy calendar, the hebrew calender.
Now most of the world is on the gregorian calendar that was set by Ceasar and then revised by Pope Gregory. So most do not know of the cycles and dates of occasions of certain events. So lets take a look at the H
ebrew calendar to orient ourselves.
The Hebrew or Jewish calendar ( ha'luach ha'ivri) is a lunisolar calendar used today predominantly for Jewish religious observances. It determines the dates for Jewish holidays and the appropriate public reading of Torah portions, and daily Psalm readings, among many ceremonial uses. In Israel, it is used for religious purposes, provides a time frame for agriculture and is an official calendar for civil purposes, although the latter usage has been steadily declining in favor of the Gregorian calendar.
The era used since the middle ages is the Anno Mundi epoch (Latin for "in the year of the world"; Hebrew meaning "from the creation of the world"). As with Anno Domini (A.D. or AD), the words or abbreviation for Anno Mundi (A.M. or AM) for the era should properly precede the date rather than follow it, although this is no longer always followed. AM 5773 began at sunset on 16 September 2012 and ended on 4 September 2013. AM 5774 began at sunset on 4 September 2013 and will end on 24 September 2014. AM 5775 will begin at sunset on 24 September 2014 and end on 13 September 2015.
The Jewish day is of no fixed length. The Jewish day is modeled on the reference to "...there was evening and there was morning..." in the Creation account in the first chapter of Genesis. Based on the classic Rabbinic interpretation of this text, a day in the Rabbinic Hebrew calendar runs from sunset (start of "the evening") to the next sunset.
There is a weekly cycle of seven days, mirroring the seven-day period of the Book of Genesis in which the world is created. The names for the days of the week, like those in the Creation account, are simply the day number within the week, with Shabbat being the seventh day. Each day of the week runs from sunset to the following sunset and is figured locally.
The Hebrew calendar is a lunisolar calendar, meaning that months are based on lunar months, but years are based on solar years. The calendar year features twelve lunar months of twenty-nine or thirty days, with an intercalary lunar month added periodically to synchronize the twelve lunar cycles with the longer solar year.

These are just a few examples of how the lunar phases sync up with the hebrew calender and holy dates. The hebrew calender is also align with solar eclipses.
Now you are probably wondering, "Well if the holy holidays or feast days are always falling on lunar and solar event, so what? The Hewbrew calender is based on their cycles so sure of course they line up?"
What needs to be recognized here is the rareity of a signifigant lunar and solar event. For example a first quarter moon is a lunar point phase, but is not that significant as it occours every month on the gregorian calender. It a common event. But the occourence of a total full moon eclipse in which the moon turns red in the night sky, now that is something to notice!

Now in the 21st century we know that its simply a total lunar eclipse, a mathmaticly occouring event,since we understand that this is just simply a moon phase, although rare, but through its simplicity of a natural occourence emerges the signifigane of its appearence on a paticular holy holiday.
In Isaiah 46:10 it states: " Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure"
This is stating that indeed God has set these events with a purpose in advance from the begining. Hince they are marked for us to take notice with celestial events that all can see.
Now, it is imporntant understand that on a major holy holiday with a signifigant celestial event occouring, does not not mean that on that given day at that exact time, something extrordinary will happen. These combonations of occourences are set by God to serve as signs, a warning. A omen of something to pass soon. For this we do not know the day or the hour, but we know when to pay close attention, because something extrordinary is forcasted. Its like a weather meteorologist, they warn us in advance of when a strong storm is comming, so we have time to prepare and make adjustments to our lives. They do not wait till the storm is directly in full swing over the intended audience and then announce it. That wouldnt serve much purpose. It is only when you recieve a warning in advance is it meaningful because then you will have time to prepare.

During the 1st Arab - Israeli War for Independence just after Israel had become a nation again for the first time in 2,000 years. VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis will become the first pontiff seen globally in 3D during the upcoming April 27 ceremony in St. Peter’s Square when two of his predecessors, John Paul II and John XXIII, will be canonised as saints.
The unprecedented double canonisation event will be produced in 3D by the Vatican TV Center (CTV) in a partnership with Rupert Murdoch’s Sky Italia, BSkyB and Sky Deutschland payboxes, and Sony. The ceremony will also be beamed into 3D movie theatres across Europe and in North and South America, in what is being touted as the first convergence of HD, 3D and 4K technologies for such a high-profile multimedia 3D event.
At a press conference in the Vatican, CTV chief Monignor Dario Vigano said the live transmission will require “more satellites than the Sochi Olympics.”
Vigano underlined that the Vatican decided to offer the canonisation ceremony to the world in 3D in order to give people who would want to attend but cannot, for many reasons including economic ones, the chance to get a “fully immersive” experience.
The production will use 13 3D cameras positioned in spots that will give a unique and exclusive vantage point of St Peter’s Square.
The HD feed will be carried by 100 broadcasters, including Italo pubcaster RAI, and viewed by an estimated 200,000 global TV audience.
The 3D TV feed will be beamed into Italy, the UK, and Germany on Sky.
The fact that CTV has teamed up with Sky on the 3D TV project, rather than RAI, which has until now been the Vatican’s customary TV partner in Italy, marks a major coup for Sky Italia.
Sky Italia managing director Andrea Zappia said he was “very proud” of the partnership with the Vatican which will also mark the first time Sky Italia, BSkyB, and Sky Deutschland team up on a live event.
More than 100 movie theatres in Italy will screen the ceremony in 3D through Nexo Digital, which will also beam it into movie theatres around the world, everywhere for free.
Roughly five million pilgrims are expected in Rome for the event, which will see four popes united in St Peter’s, given that the Vatican has confirmed that former Pope Benedict XVI will attend. As Pope Francis is beloved by most of the world he is highly reguarded as being a 'New Age' Pontiff as he has his own twitter account and takes to crowds with ease. Now we are seeing just the newest tech being used by the Pope to extend their message to the world as never seen before. This Pope is reaching out to a whole new generation like never seen before, no one argue that Pope Francis is the most popular and interesting of the pontiffs to grace us in the last 50 years. I would be wise to keep your eye closely fixed on his message and also what moves the Vatican will be making!
In the Bible the story of Noah is a popular text depicting God's wrath of destroying mankind as he has become corrupt with sin. Today this story beheld by millions of Christians and Jews around the world is once again center stage in the movie Noah another Hollywood blockbuster movie for 2014.
Hollywood's version though is quite different than the Biblical text that we know, instead it has been 'modified' to not upset the non-Christians and actually hold a quite different meaning.
God is replaced with the word 'Creator', in the book of Noah God is mentioned 20 times, Lord mentioned 9 times.
In the Bible version, great sin man created was adultry, blasphemy, murder, deciet, destructive gossip, betrayal.
Movie version the great sin of man is described as degrading the environment, making huge cities, killing animals for food, minning, and development of technology.
Hollywood has actually replaced God with 'Gaia' or Earth, this is not just them simply replacing God with Creator to appease the non-Christians and Jews there is a direct meaning of what they mean.
SPOILER ALERT: Noah is faced with a challenge to kill his family as man is the biggest threat to this earth and he is left standing over two new born babies deciding to kill them. This is not God's true intention, for he loves us so much he gave us his only Son Jesus Christ. God does not ask us to kill our families or other people, actually that is indeed one of the sins of man that God was punishing humanity for in the true story of Noah.
This Hollywood version of Noah is actually closer to the story of Abraham.
Its a movie, and creative licence is permitted, its just a film, but when you take the point of a holy religious sacred text, a Biblical story held passionate and dear to millions of Christians and Jews throughout the world, and change the meaning, its blasphemy.
The equilivlent of saying Martin Luther King Jr. was advocating genocide of everyone who wasen't black, and then commits suicide.
The only thing that this mockery of the story of Noah does tell us is that over 2000 years later, we are still talking about these Biblical events and it must hold great weight as still there are those who try to destroy it.
A CME launched from sunspot AR2014 on March 23rd is expected to deliver a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on March 25th. NOAA forecasters estimate a 30%-40% chance of polar geomagnetic storms on March 25-26.
On March 23rd around 0330 UT, the magnetic canopy of sunspot AR2014 became unstable and erupted, producing a long-duration C-class solar flare. Although C-class flares are considered to be minor, this one lasted so long (several hours) that it unleashed the energy-equivalent of a much stronger flare.
Depending on where the impact of the CME blast will reach on Earth, it is common for that area to experience temporary radio black- outs and possible satellite disruptions. There is also some evidence that earthquakes can be triggered by the geomagnetic storms caused by the CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) wave when it hits the Earth's crust.
Tonight's full moon is also known as the Full 'Worm' Moon, as named by the Algonquin tribes that lived in the extended region from New England through Lake Superior. The full moon in spring was given the name name as the ground would soften and earthworms would reappear to the soil surface attracting Robin birds to feed. It's a sign of Spring, according to the Farmer's almanac.

Doan Huu Gia, deputy general director of Vietnam's air traffic management confirmed authorities had received the email from Mike McKay, a New Zealander working on a rig operated by the Italian Oil Company ENI in the Gulf of Thailand.
"He said he spotted a burning [object] at that location, some 300 km (200 miles) southeast of Vung Tau," said the Vietnamese official.
But McKay’s original email, sent the morning after the plane went missing, gave a more detailed account. He was on the rig Songa Mercur when he saw the aircraft in flames.
His latest message timed at 6.24 today goes as follows: ‘Gentlemen. I believe I saw the Malaysian Airlines flight come down. The timing is right.
“I tried to contact Malaysian and Vietnamese officials days ago. But I do not know if the message has been received.
“I am on the oil ring Songa-Mercur off the coast of Vung Tau.
‘The surface location of the observation is Lat 08* 22’ 30.20” N
Lat 08* 42.22.26” E
“I observed (the plane?) burning at high altitude at a compass bearing of 265* to 275*
‘It is very difficult to judge the distance but I would say 50 to 70 kms along the compass bearing 260-277.
"While I observed (the plane) it appeared to be in one piece.
“The sea surface current at our location is 2-2.3 knots in the direction of 225-230.
“The wind direction has been E-ENE averaging 15-20 knots.
“From when I first saw the burning (plane?) until the flames went out (at high altitude) was 10-15 seconds.
“There was no lateral movement so it was either coming toward our position stationary (falling) or going away.
“The general position of the observation was perpendicular/ south west of the normal flight paths.
(We see the con trails every day) and at a lower altitude than the normal flight paths or on the compass bearing 265 to 275 intersecting the normal flight paths at normal altitude but further away.

The stolen passports booked tickets simultaneously, the tickets purchased were numbered consecutivly.
They both had connecting flights to Amsterdam from Beijing then one onward to Frankfurt Germany, the other to Copenhagen Denmark.
152 from China, 38 from Malaysia, 7 from Indonesia, 6 from Australia, 3 from US other countries passengers France, New Zealand, Canada, Ukraine, Russia, Taiwan, Netherlands
227 passengers total, 2 infants, 12 crew members.
US confirmed one American passenger named Philip Wood an IBM Executive from Texas.
No country checked its database before the flight on any of the passengers,
they Lost contact 2 hours into the flight.
No distress signal deployed, experts believe that something quick and violent happened since no distress signal was used.
Plane lost contact and radar signal 1 minute before entering Vietnams airspace.
Saturday, 2 large oil slicks were reported by Vietnamese Air force between 6-9 miles long in the Gulf of Thailand; no debris was visible.
The plane has not been found yet.
Malaysia Martitime agency has collected samples of the oil to test to see if it matches the same kind found in a Boeing 777.
Its percieved that the plane turned off course, so search area is widened, air force chief Rodzali Daud said.
Now another pilot from another plane claims he made brief contact with flight 370, after they initially lost contact, he said he was deep into Vietnamese airspace when officials asked him to relay to MH370 to establish its position, and that he succeeded at around 1.30am – around 10 minutes after the last recorded flight data.
"There was a lot of interference … static … but I heard mumbling from the other end," he said, adding that he believed the voice belonged to the co-pilot, Fariq Abdul Hamid. He then lost the connection.
An airline pilot who flew within 100 nautical miles of the route 12 hours before the Malaysia Airline flight disappeared said there were large thunderstorms in the area, with some turbulence, but the weather did not appear to pose serious problems for commercial flights.
Flight 370 was at 35,0000 feet when it lost signal initially, authorities speculating it may have disenterated in midair.
3 possibilities of what happened to flight 370:
1. The Plane had some sort of mechanical error or encountered major turbulance and crashed into the gulf of Thailand, though no debris is found which is odd, this theory is open till tests on the two oil slicks are confirmed, hopefully we will hear about that later today.
2. Plane had some explosion and disentigrated into the air, from a terrorist attack or by some sort of plane malfunction. Though if this is the case, we may never know, as there will be no evidence.
3. Flight 370 was last contacted by another unnamed pilot 10 minutes after losing initial contact. He claims the plane was deep into Vietnam airspace. Its possible it was hijacked and forced to land at another airport, where passengers are being held hostage. There is a long list of former airports and proposed airports in Vietnam. Its also possible since the plane had no contact, it could of managed to get to Cambodia to a former or proposed airport. Many of the former or proposed airports in Vietnam are left over from the Vietnam war, and are still standing today. It would have to be one big enough to support a boeing 777, and someone on board would have to be able to land it without establishing contact unless it made contact with a controlled airport expecting the plane. This theory supports terrorist activity. Why would terrorist want a plane intact? Though this is highly unlikely, but not impossible, the only reason I can think of is they would want the plane to use as a weapon of mass destruction like on the September 11 attacks. Recently the US has issued a warning of terrorist activity pertaining to shoe bombs on in coming flights to the us.
Hopefully they will keep releasing more information so we can have a clear picture of what may have happened, and the families can get some answers and closure.
With much of the World's eyes sharply focused on the growing crisis in Ukraine especially now honing in on the Crimea region, we see a game of words and world powers passing blame onto one another. Some specific imporntant events have occurred recently and when you put them in order a story rises that doesn't paint the EU or the US in very good light. Lets take a look at these events in order, I've included links at story reference points so you can see the facts surrounding the Crisis in Ukraine.
Last year the EU has been putting pressure on the Ukrainian government to join the EU splitting the country almost in half of people mostly to the north in favor and the people in the south against. Then Russia stepped in and gave an offering of $20 billion to Ukraine (http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304403804579263963348323966 ) as a bailout package to help with their economic situation in return to hopefully sway them to not join up with the EU. At this point, Putin is not wanting them to join Russia, just to turn down the offers from the EU. This enrages the Ukrainian people to the north mostly as they want to exist as a democratic state and join in the European community for economic security. Why does the EU want Ukraine to join the EU? Energy simply put, or control over natural gas and an oil pipeline that extends from Russia through the Ukraine. This is why we see the German PM Merkel talking the loudest about this situation in Ukraine besides John Kerry and the current Ukrainian government. They have a deep interest in obtaining this region. At the same time, Russia currently already has a deal with Ukraine as they stand today, with out an invasion or full scale take over that allows Russia to profit off of the crude oil piped through Ukraine. Vladimir Putin does not want this to change, and ultimately he has control over these energies and them being transporting and sold. If the EU gets Ukraine to join, the energy control tends to shift (at least the Ukraine side) severly limiting Russia's power over this nation.
Last year during the EU's push on Ukraine, its now been leaked that the US is involved in trying to over throw the Ukrainian government as they were pro-Russia. ( http://www.panorama.am/en/interviews/2014/03/04/edward-corrigan/ ) When the protests recently happening in Kiev where the pro-Russia leader was successfully over thrown, he fled to Moscow. Which right after, a EU and US friendly Prime Minister and government stepped in, just as Europe and America had planned.
This is when we see Russian helicopters swarm the Crimea coast and rumor of 16,000 Russian troops setting foot on Ukrainian soil and seizing airports and other governmental facilities. It is imporntant to note that most of the people in the Crimea region are Russia friendly and is the spoken language of that area in Ukraine. Putin claims that he is helping those such citizens and establishing a presence to protect their interests. Western World Leaders scoffed at the idea, with out looking at certain facts that have been evolving over the past year one can easily see Russia as the 'bad guys'. Its only when you see these events that have played out a different story surfaces. A story from an unbiased point of view clearly outlines the EU's greedy needs of acquiring Ukraine and the US secretly sneaking around and funding a project to over throw a government of a sovereign nation.
Benjamin Netanyahu landed early Monday in Washington DC to discuss a peace agreement with Palestine, state TV reports. Its been said that President Obama will directly force Israel into an agreement despite Israel's growing concerns over the details of the plan Sec. John Kerry has laid out. In this deal its stated that Israel will have to hault their building projects in the Judea and Samaria regions and not have recognition as a Jewish state. In this deal its also confirmed that Jerusalem will serve as the capitol of both Israel and Palestine, merging the two into one state. Earlier this year Sec. John Kerry stressed this deal needs to be cemented by April of 2014.
Why is there such a hurry to get this peace treaty signed by April of 2014? The frame works for this deal have actually been layed out for thousands of years and the deadline is approaching fast, in a biblical sense. The Blood Moons are about to rise again.

Ukraine's new government just taking office last week has accused Russia of declaring war on Ukraine and has sent their troops surrounding the country even taking control of one of their airports in the Crimea Region. "This is a red alert. This is not a threat. This is actually a declaration of war to my country," Ukrainian interim Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said.

Revelation 20:7, Russia's advancement on the Ukraine is just one major step closer to the result battle that is talked about in the Bible, specifically in Revelations. End game is attacking Israel. World War III
The battle of Armageddon will be World War III, but it will not be the last war where all the nations of the world will surround Israel and attempt to defeat her. The battle of Gog and Magog will be the last battle to be fought. But all the players for WWIII, prophesied by God in the Holy Bible, are now all taking the stage, assembling their armaments, and are waiting for the moment when they will all attack.
In recent days we have seen Iran making threats against the United States and Israel, we have seen Russia's role in Iran and Syria last year. Now we are seeing just one more phase in this plan come to fruition.
These past few weeks for the Ukraine have been a tough struggle for freedom. Last week the world was shocked by the violence in Kiev that left almost a hundred people dead in protests against the Ukraine government and their abuse of power. Now with Russia's recent move of troops into the Crimea region and taking control of the airport, President Obama has finally spoke about the situation and growing crisis. Saturday, President Obama and Vladimir Putin had a phone call that was reported to last about an hour and a half. Obama called the situation in Ukraine a “clear violation” of that country’s sovereignty, according to the White House. Obama also called Russia's actions a "violation of international law" and said they will lead to "greater political and economic isolation," according to the readout of the conversation from the White House Office of the Press Secretary.
"Vladimir Putin emphasized that, in the case of a further spread in violence in eastern regions (of Ukraine) and Crimea, Russia maintains the right to protect its interests and the Russian-speaking population that lives there," the Kremlin statement said. A UN Council meeting is set for next week so people can discuss their concerns over the Ukraine and what actions if any will need to be made.
Clearly after watching Obama over the past 6 years we conclude that foreign policy is not his strong suit. While he has focused his entire presidency over domestic issues, it seems efforts from past administrations are not weakened, and almost seem they were all for nothing. As we learned in the beginning of the year as we pulled out of Iraq with our Troops the country is falling back to the same extreme state is was in when Sadam was in power, maybe even worse. Putin is making this move to over take the Ukraine now because he sees the United States is weak with this current administration in office. Now is his chance to take back the Crimea region so he can have dominance over the ports to the Black Sea. President Obama can draw lines and make threats but as we saw with Syria last year, they all just prove to be empty. Vladimir Putin is an ex-KGB member and should not be taken lightly. I really don't think an ex-community organizer is any threat to Russia as we have weaken ourselves both financially and politically. America is almost a joke, and Obama is the punch line.
We can only hope that efforts made in the UN can be successful and solve this crisis fast for Ukraine. Time is of the essence for the people who desperately need someones help. The White House also said Congress will also consider targeted sanctions against Russian people and entities that “undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine” and that the Russian government “felt free to intervene militarily in Ukraine” because the United States and Europe have failed to make clear there will be serious consequences. It feels like nothing this current administration says or does makes anything very clear to anyone. I guess when you campaign the stratedgy is the claim you are clear and focused then get into office and be as vague and confusing to everyone.

3. Flight 370 was last contacted by another unnamed pilot 10 minutes after losing initial contact. He claims the plane was deep into Vietnam airspace. Its possible it was hijacked and forced to land at another airport, where passengers are being held hostage. There is a long list of former airports and proposed airports in Vietnam. Its also possible since the plane had no contact, it could of managed to get to Cambodia to a former or proposed airport. Many of the former or proposed airports in Vietnam are left over from the Vietnam war, and are still standing today. It would have to be one big enough to support a boeing 777, and someone on board would have to be able to land it without establishing contact unless it made contact with a controlled airport expecting the plane. This theory supports terrorist activity. Why would terrorist want a plane intact? Though this is highly unlikely, but not impossible, the only reason I can think of is they would want the plane to use as a weapon of mass destruction like on the September 11 attacks. Recently the US has issued a warning of terrorist activity pertaining to shoe bombs on in coming flights to the us.
